We’re looking to expand our team with a vibrant individual who can maintain and ensure service delivery and coordination within the security service desk, maintain high levels of service delivery aligned to our principles as an IT Governance & Architectural Services Consultancy. Preference will be given to candidates from all designated groups including people with disabilities.

You will work closely with our practice architects and other security consultants to deliver A-quality security services to high-end clients

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with frontline telephonic coordination and security solutions support.
  • Manage service level agreement clients ensuring engineers are executing work as per agreements. (Daily, weekly, monthly support & health checks).
  • Management and tracking Adhoc support hours and SLA/MSA support hours.
  • Monthly recons on services and contracts.
  • Scheduling of meetings and minute taking for the security team.
  • Monitoring cases and ensuring escalations are done and resolved within our call logging matrix.
  • Administrative support for our own internal security teams.
  • Ensuring processes are followed within the service desk. (IT Governance)
  • Level 1 Incident response coordination.
  • Regular telephonic support and onboarding of new and existing customers.

Qualifications

Mandatory

  • Matric

Advantageous

  • Security Vendor Certifications or knowledge an advantage. (Sales and Technical)
  • Governance Framework Knowledge (Cobit 2019, ISO 27001, ITIL etc).
  • CompTIA N+ & A+ qualification.

Experience

Mandatory

  • No previous work experience is required.

Advantageous

  • Knowledge of and working experience in a security operation centre (SOC) administration.

Skills & Competencies

Mandatory

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English, other languages are advantageous).
  • Excellent work ethic: energetic, get-things-done attitude and take responsibility to deliver positive results beyond expectations.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, ability to call and explain cyber security solutions to customers.
  • Solid proficiency in computer literacy and Microsoft Office stack.
  • Customer-centric sales skills and ability to build productive, growth-focused business relationships.
  • Well-developed and effective communication and presentation skills is a must for this position.
  • Ability and competence to write technical material for training, white papers using applications such as PowerPoint, Word and Visio.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle confrontation when necessary.
  • Team player, able to work in a team and get along well with senior management.
