Multi-national logistics company chooses Microsoft Azure to tighten security and optimise data centre costs

by | 29 May 2018 | Case Studies, Microsoft

Summary

A multi-national Logistics Company had identified Azure as the target for rapid expansion but were concerned about the potential loss of security features that had already been developed in the existing data centre infrastructure. AVeS Cyber Security took their Azure environment down to a low-level Technical Design with a focus on Security and hardening that would rival and often beat practices that were locally deployed. We took a Cloud Platform and designed a security layer around core deliverables including VNET Peering and port groups as well as providing several security tightening practices via tools available to them within Azure, which in turn lowered 3rd party overheads and costs.
