Vulnerability and Penetration Engineer

• Assist clients with Security solutions support (installations/upgrades & configurations).
• Assist the security sales/renewals with technical advice.

• Project management of technical solutions (Follow strict governance frameworks and policies).
• Vulnerability Management and Remediation pro-actively for customers.
• Penetration testing services such as White/Grey and Black box testing.
• Penetration testing will include tests on networks, applications, web applications, social and physical security.
• Assist customers in conducting security audits and analysing security policies as well as writing security reports based on assessments.
• Manage service level agreement clients (Daily, weekly, monthly support & health checks).
• Ensure cases are resolved within our call logging matrix.
• Support services for our own internal security solutions.
• SOC analysis of critical logs and remediation support.
• Incident Response Management and Coordination.
• Regular telephonic support and onboarding of new and existing customers.

Mandatory

• BSc Information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• CEH or CISSP or other job-related qualifications.

Advantageous

• CompTIA N+, S+ & A+ qualification.
• Security Vendor Certifications an advantage.

• No previous work experience is required.

• Knowledge of and working experience in a penetration testing team.

• Well-developed and effective communication and presentation skills are a must for this position.
• Ability and competence to write technical material for training, white papers using applications such as PowerPoint, Word and Visio.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle confrontation when necessary.
• Team player, able to work in a team and get along well with senior management.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally if needed.
• Ability to recommend solutions to these threats identified.

Advantageous

• Governance Framework Knowledge (COBIT 2019, ISO 27001, ITIL etc).
• Networking skills include mail security, network security and firewalls.
